IS SEEKING NEW BOARD MEMBERS

If you are interested in working with a progressive, community-based organization offering vital, multilingual services to battered women of all backgrounds, please contact us. We are particularly interest in board members having experience in any of the following areas:

Familiarity with the Issue of Domestic Violence
Grant writing
Fundraising/Special Events
Accounting
Program Development
Public Relations
Legal or Clinical Experience with Domestic Violence.

Board membership involves a two year commitment and 6 to 12 hours per month of your time. We seek a diverse board which reflects our community at large. Survivors of domestic violence, former WOMAN,Inc. clients, men and women of all ages, sexual orientation, racial, cultural and ethnic background and levels of physical ability are encouraged to apply.
